Bear Tested, Mother Approved

Welcome to Glacier Creek Hungarian Kuvasz, founded in Eagle River, Alaska!  Temperament and working ability are our top priorities, and our puppies combine the finest imported bloodlines to become trustworthy family pets, Best in Show and Top 10 winners, obedience stars and proven livestock guardians.   We strive to preserve the Hungarian style heritage of the kuvasz we breed.  Our puppies are raised in our home as versatile working members of our family where they patrol our forest to drive off  wayward bears and wolves.
Home of Tezla, #1 Kuvasz Female in Breed again for 2013 and 2014!
We are now located in beautiful Helena, Montana, the Gateway to Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.

Exciting news, our current litter has been sired by an Authentic Hungarian Kuvasz!  We have one male puppy available Thanksgiving weekend. All pups will  be raised on our forested acreage, imprinted  with livestock and guaranteed not to test "affected" by Optigen PRA .Please click on the Email link for more information about any of our dogs or call: (406), Four-Six-One, Three-Nine-Seven-Nine.

We will be breeding another litter in the spring, perfect timing for imprinting on newborn livestock. Early reservations are recommended for females.

Our dogs are not raised in a kennel but in our home up in the Ponderosa Pine forest where they have free access to acres of forest where they learn to patrol with their working parents in the wholesome but rugged Montana environment. Bears, wolves, mountain lions, coyotes and foxes cross the property from the continental divide.

We attended the World Show in Budapest Hungary and brought back a souvenier from a top Gold Wreath breeder.  Edeleny Kerti Nyalka and frozen Feher-Morcos Unikum.
