Ch. Brantwood's Artic Adventure "Shiner" X  Peachtree's Ava Gabor "Ava"

Chena was born on a South Texas sheep ranch.  Her mother was an excellent flockguard, and through this litter is dam to three champions, one a Group Winner and 2 X Top 10 dog (Michael), and another one, Tara, dam to three champions herself,  of which two (Fang and Curly Joe)are group placers.  Chena herself is a champion producer, through Alaska. Her aunt is Ch. Peachtree's Curly Que "Cleo", owned and bred by Randy and Dawn Ham.  Cleo is also a champion/group placer producer and is granddam to the 1997 Specialty Winner's Dog. Pictured are dad, Shiner (middle) and her three Alaskan siblings, Chance, Michael and Tara (far right). Three of Chena's sisters are flockguards in Texas.
At her first show, Chena won a major reserve at only six months in Eastern Washington
She finished her Championship with a major at just over one year of age. She is pictured here winning a major at less than 9 months of age.

Ever since Chena was a puppy, we thought she was the spitting image of Shiner.  Her name for the first few weeks of her life was Shinette! She is a very tall girl, 28" or more at the shoulders with white coat, black exotic eyes, long elegant head and black pigment including all black toenails. Her temperament is outstanding. Friendly and trustworthy, she absolutely loved the showring and is great with kids, while being still being a savvy bear dog.
