Michael, born of a working sheep girl in Texas, brother of working sheep girls, became our first top Group Winning showdog.  He finished his Championship with a major at 9 months Michael, Best of Breed, Judge Charles Mullock July 1994

 His first Group Placement was a Group 1 at only 19 months of age! Mrs. Polly Smith was one of his greatest fans!
He went on to win Group Placements on the West Coast

He also won BOB's over the nation's top dogs before he let Sonia take over in 1997.
He finished his Canadian championship in three shows with three group placements. He was #3 in Canada for 1995, but had the most group placements of any kuvasz that year.

 		 He became the first Junior Owner/handed kuvasz to win a Group Placement in the history of the breed! 
He also won Best in Show Brace with his father Shiner
And Best in Specialty Show
We started showing the two boys in Brace because there were folks who said two intact male Kuvasz could NEVER get along.  However, Michael was the true Will Rogers of the Kuvasz World and never met anyone or any dog he didn't like.  His absolute best friend is his dad, Shiner.
 		 But mostly he is a winner on our couch and in our hearts. 
We named him after the Angel of Light, because he was the sunniest personality we ever met.
